Program name: Fart a Day gift subscription SMS program

How the SMS program works

Fart a Day sends SMS messages only as part of the gift subscription flow. No SMS messages are sent for self-subscriptions.

Step-by-step consent flow:

A gift-giver visits fartaday.com, selects a subscription plan (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly), and chooses “Gift to a friend.”
The gift-giver enters their own phone number and the gift-recipient’s phone number. At this step, the following disclosure is shown on-screen before the form is submitted:

“By submitting, you agree to the Fart a Day gift subscription SMS program: the recipient will receive a maximum of 2 SMS messages — one gift invitation (naming you as the sender) and one confirmation if they reply Y to accept. Message frequency is limited to these 2 messages per gift. Msg&Data rates may apply. The recipient may reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.”
The gift-giver is redirected to Stripe to complete payment. Upon payment, the gift-giver receives a verification phone call and must press 1 to confirm ownership of their phone number. This number is included in the invitation SMS so the recipient knows who sent the gift.
A single invitation SMS is sent to the gift-recipient. No calls are placed and no further messages are sent until the recipient replies Y from their own handset.
Upon a Y reply, a confirmation SMS is sent and the subscription activates. Recipients who reply N are never contacted again.

Gift-recipients receive a maximum of 2 SMS messages per gift:

No recurring promotional or marketing SMS messages are sent.
